2016 Season Update: Very proud of my teammates in qualifying for Regional! We set our personal best in 4x400!
2016 Accomplishments:
4/29/16 Update: Our 4x100 Team set school record last night in Tipton Relay...Ran anchor...love that race! Our 4x400 team won the Tipton Invite as well. Felt good to win it! I finished 2nd in 200m dash. Huskies finished 2nd overall...great night!!
4/27/16 Update: Our girls and boys teams won the Northwestern Relays last night! We won the 4/100 4x400 and hurdle shuttle relay. Great to be back running hurdles again. Ran anchor on 4x100...LOVE That Race! Ankle still tender but getting back into shape for year end push!
4/23/16 Update: Guerin Invitational-Personal Best today 27.30a in the 200 meters...happy with the results considering ankle not 100%... :>)
4/15/16 Update: For now I will be running sprints only due to my ankle sprain. Won the 100m dash yesterday and the 4x100 and finshed 2nd in the 200m dash at Northwestern/Western 3 way meet. Tomorrow at our Big Orange Invitational I will be running the 200, 4x100 and 4x400. Looking forward to running anchor in both relays. I love those two races!
4X400 Finished 8th at State Indoor today! Ankle feels great! Looking forward to finishing the outdoor season strong!
3/26/16 Update: Running in 4x400 today at Purdue! First race back from sprained ankle...excited to run with my teammates!
2016 Update: I am currently rehabbing my right ankle after a sprain in the Indoor Qualifier at Indiana Wesleyan on 3/5. This is the first injury of my career so it is tough to sit out but I am looking forward to getting back to 100% as soon as I can!
I am preparing for my junior year track season and have a Cumulative GPA of 3.78. My accomplishments to date are: 2015 Indiana State Regional Finalist in 100m hurdles, 300m hurdles and 4x400 relay; On 5/8/15, I won the Hamilton County Chamionship in the 100m Hurdles, 300m hurdles and was the High Point Individual Scorer at The Hamilton County Track and Field Meet. (Participating High Schools: Carmel, Fishers, Guerin Catholic, Hamilton Southeastern, Noblesville, Sheridan, University, Westfield and Hamilton Heights) On 3/21/15, I finished 3rd in the 60m Hurdles with a time of 9.50 at The Hoosier Relay State Finals for 3A/2A/1A schools. My 9.50 time was 9th overall in all classes 6A-1A in the state of Indiana. In 2014, I advanced to the Indiana State Regional at West Lafayette in the 100m Hurdles. I am a very well-rounded track athlete that can run, 100m/300m hurdles, 100m/200m/400m dash and 4x100m/4x400m relays. Although hurdles are my main event today, I feel that I can improve my times significantly in the above events with focus and practice. In 2015, I received "The Workhorse" award at Hamilton Heights due to my ability to run in all of these events based on where the coach needed me to help the team the most that particular day.
