I have been running Cross Country and Track since 8th grade and I absolutely love it. I have finished four of my seasons in high school earning a medal each year at State. In 2011, I was top freshman in the 3A classification for Idaho in both Track and Cross Country. Also that season I was a part of the North Idaho female team of the year and I was nominated for female athlete of the year. In Cross Country I am a four time all-regional, all-state athlete, and part of the IML first team for my area. I was the 2013 District Champion in Cross. In my high school I am ranked 6th with a time of 19:03 for the program's history. I am also the new 2014 District Champion in both the 3200 and 1600.
Running is a big part of my life and my only wish is to continue with this sport for as long as I can. As for my goals, I want to get top 5 at a State meet in both track and cross country. Here is a link to my times during the track season, if you wish to see my cross country history there is a link in this one on the right hand side. http://www.athletic.net/TrackAndField/Athlete.aspx?AID=3550698
If you notice on Athletic.net that I only ran three races my senior year in Cross because I was put in a boot for six weeks. My achilles tendinitis was going to rupture my tendon if I continued to run on it. I finished my season earning another medal at State with little training so I am very happy with that.
