Hello, my name is Harlee Hales. Currently, I am a sophomore at Pocatello High School in Idaho. I love track and would love the opportunity to be able to run in college. My goals in college include becoming a dental hygienist. However, achieving my goal of a college track scholarship would be a dream come true and is at the top of my list. My main event is the 400 meter, and I am achieving good success in the 200 meter, as well. I also anchor on relay teams. All of my times are posted on athletic.net.
There are some things that I feel set me apart from other candidates in character, athletics, and academics. I believe that it is important to always be true to yourself and to have integrity at all times, no matter who is/isn't around. When it comes to athletics, I am always willing to put in the time during the off-season. I am physically strong, but even more important, I am mentally strong and am able to take critique and use it to improve. I focus on having a positive attitude. In regards to academics, I believe that I am a student before an athlete. However, for me, the two go hand in hand: They both push me to be my best, and I strive to achieve excellence in both.
