Personal Statement

My name is Payton Fratusco and I am currently a senior at Rocky Mountain High School in Meridian, Idaho. I am a six time varsity letter winner in cross country and track.  As a freshman running track, I placed 6th in the state in the 1600 and was a state champion in the 4 X 800 relay.  As a sophomore in track, I placed 11th in the 1600 and had the pleasure of being a part of the state winning 4 X 800 relay team for the second year in a row.  During the 2016 state track meet, the girls team for Rocky Mountain won its first state title. In cross country I was a state qualifier and finished 21st as a freshman and 19th as a sophomore and 18th as a junior. During my junior year of outdoor track, I ran a 4:59.64 1600 placed 4th in the 1600 and helped our team to a 2nd place finish in State. I am hoping to run cross country and track in college where I can continue to build relationships and be part of a team.

I have been a peer tutor and volunteered in the community assisting at a senior center, volunteered at my church and engaged in other community service projects. I enjoy helping people of all ages. I would like to pursue a degree in law or psychology.

I participate in honors classes and am a current member of the National Honors Society.  I have also received an academic award for every sport season I have participated in.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
