My name is Payton Fratusco and I am currently a senior at Rocky Mountain High School in Meridian, Idaho. I am a six time varsity letter winner in cross country and track. As a freshman running track, I placed 6th in the state in the 1600 and was a state champion in the 4 X 800 relay. As a sophomore in track, I placed 11th in the 1600 and had the pleasure of being a part of the state winning 4 X 800 relay team for the second year in a row. During the 2016 state track meet, the girls team for Rocky Mountain won its first state title. In cross country I was a state qualifier and finished 21st as a freshman and 19th as a sophomore and 18th as a junior. During my junior year of outdoor track, I ran a 4:59.64 1600 placed 4th in the 1600 and helped our team to a 2nd place finish in State. I am hoping to run cross country and track in college where I can continue to
I have been a peer tutor and volunteered in the community assisting at a senior center, volunteered at my church and engaged in other community service projects. I enjoy helping people of all ages. I would like to pursue a degree in law or psychology.
I participate in honors classes and am a current member of the National Honors Society. I have also received an academic award for every sport season I have participated in.
