My first time running track was in fifth grade, where my elementary school hosted a fifth grade track meet. That day I received many medals. This occasion was thrilling, and from that day I knew that I wanted to continue running track. In middle school I ran many different events, filling in for teammates when they could not be at the meets. Freshmen year my goal was to make it to state, even though I did not achieve this goal I stayed committed to the sport. I made it to the first day of regional's, and sophomore year I made it to the second day of regional's. This has motivated me to push myself harder and continue to focus on my goal of making it to state. When I am not on the track I am on the basketball court, to keep active. I take part in many clubs: partnership, Tri-M, FBLA, Student council, and Anchor club.
I am looking for a school that will fit me academically and athletically.Track is very important to me, but academics comes first. I would like to major in forensic science, and I would not mind attending a school far away from home.
