My name is Jasmine Leach. I'm currently a senior in high school. I High Jump and Triple Jump. I've been doing high jump since middle school, and really started to get into it my freshman year of high school. Whenever I tell people "I'm a high jumper" they look at me and laugh. Why? Because I'm not like most high jumpers: Tall. I'm 5'3 and can clear my height. I'm hoping to go higher this year. At meets, compettition look at me and say they will beat me. some do, a lot don't. I don't want to give the impression that I'm cocky, because I have ALOT of room for improvement. I'm looking to further my high jump career and triple jump career in college to become a better athlete, and work with professional college coaches that I know will make me better. I think I'll be a good addition to a team because I'm uplifting. Even when our team isn't doing so well, I have a smile on my face, and will try to get others to smile too. I'm a very goofy person, and I like to have fun. Track is very fun to me so I make the most out of it. Not only am I a good athlete, I also do very well academically. I currently have a 3.91 GPA, and I am ranked 26th in my class out of 348.
