Melanie Hamilt '13 Recruiting Profile

Hi my name is Melanie Hamilt, and I go to McIntosh High School of Peachtree City Georgia. I'm graduating with the class of 2013. I'm looking to run in college; however, running isn't my only priority. I'm looking for a school that can offer me academics and a good running program. I love cross country and I enjoy track. My pr's are 19:04 on a xc course and 18:58 on a road race course for the 5k. My 10K pr is a 39:30 and I have a 15k pr of 1:03. This track season I pr'd in the 3200 with a time of 11:34. I made it to state where i placed 9th with a time of 11:38. (With stiff competition as sectionals were added to weed out the "slow" runners).
