A Track and Field extraordinaire!
This young lady is more than a triple threat. She surpasses most athletes today because of her ability to run and compete in almost any race. Allura cannot be compared to anyone, partially because those that she has been inspired by range from Wilma Rudolf to Florence Griffith Joyner. Athletes such as Allison Felix have been an inspiration to her, but her style is her very own. She simply loves the art of Running!
Three Time Gold Medalist of the 2007 Hersey Relays. Gold, Silver, Bronze Medalist of the 2008 Show-Me State Games, Nine 1st place wins in all 2009 races for Wood Brook Middle School. 2010, she added more Gold medals to her collection. She has two Gold medals in the Long Jump, for the Joint Base Lewis McChord, along with one Silver Medal. All the events she participates in are the 100m, 200m 400m and Long Jump. These have been her event since she started running serious in 2006. This was the same year she also start her own Track and Field team. Which later do to her successful 4x100 team, turned into a club. The club had twenty-two members and ages ranged from 7-16 year old. Allura always had the support of her teachers, coaches alike. These people have also pushed her to do better go further. Her father has always embraced the idea that she will achieve anything she sets her heart too. Thought-out here life she has not stop shooting for the star she is still showing the world she really is a Superwoman.
Allura is currently a member of her Brad well Institute JROTC. She has been a part of this unique activity for two years. She has achieved the rank of Corporal. She is very active in the class. She participates in everything from repelling to volunteering to help with activities that support the community. She has and is always out going. Allura is always willing to lend a hand. Giving up is not an Option!
Allura has grown up in the military. But she is for from the Military Brat. Her life has not been easy with all the moving from one place to another. But Allura has used this as an opportunity to grow and learn different thing. She has in this time learned to cook and is now pursuing a career in Culinary Art. She plans to attend college with her major in this area. She has for the last three years taken class in French. This she says in for the possibility of cooking in Paris, France someday.
When Allura is not at the track working at her craft, she's working out with her sisters and her dad, or simply spending time with her family and close friends.
