Chandelic Jackson '10 Recruiting Profile

While participating as a collegiate runner my BIGGEST goal it "To get better". Through out my running career I've had some set backs some caused by my own doings. But I've managed to get around them and worked hard to achieve. My Junior Cross Country year wasnt one of my best years because of an unfortunate injury but I managed to work hard and slowly get back in the game placing 13th at region which was pretty upsetting and also not my best time of the season. My Junior Track season was I would say one of my better years. I was able to participate in the Taco Bell Classic's placing 10th in the 800. I placed 3rd at region in the 1600 and advanced to state in the 800 placing 5th with the time of 2:17.80. As my senoir year get closer I want to perfect running and relinquish any barries I may have set in the past. In short i want to outsmart injuries and be one of if not the best contender in my field and with this being my senoir year I am going to continue my process of maturing into a great college athlete.
