Personal Statement
Hi, my name is Elena Brown-Soler. I just completed my junior year of high school and my second year of high school track. I started running track in 7th grade and haven't stopped since. During high school I compete in both the 4x100 and 4x400 along with indiviual events, which include the 100 meter hurdles, high jump, and long jump, however, during the summer I compete in the Heptathlon, 100 and 400 meter hurdles, high jump, and long jump. After competing in gymnastics for 11 years and diving and running throughout highschool, I've learned how to create a balance between academics and athletics. I hope to continue doing what I love and being a student athlete in college.
