Bailey Brown '17 Recruiting Profile

Running has always meant a great deal to me. I started running track my sophomore year, but even before then I would always find myself running for my own personal enjoyment. When I was stressed, had something on my mind, or was not doing anything, I would always run. Track has become a huge part of my life. I think that the characteristics of a good teammate are hard-working, committed, and determined runners. I pride myself on being very hard-working, when something is not perfect I work at it until I'm satisfied. I also will always put my team first. When I take something on I want to see it through until the end. I feel like what makes me different is that through all the adversity I have faced in my life, I have never let that get me down for any reason. I know I will be able to carry this perseverance with me into collegiate track. No matter what team I am on, I always encourage the people around me. These qualities will make me a valuable member of any team I am apart of.
