Victoria Goodwin '12 Recruiting Profile

Greetings. My name is Victoria (Tori) Goodwin. I am a junior at Northside Christian High School in St. Petersburg, Florida. As I begin my search for the right college to continue my education, I just wanted to say hello and introduce myself. I will be graduating in May 2012. My current GPA is 4.3 weighted after 2.5 years of high school participating in advanced/honors courses. I am looking for the right program to continue my higher education while progressing to the next level of athletic challenges. I sincerely hope you take a moment to read my profile and keep an eye on my progress during the next two cross country and track seasons. Academically I am self motivated, I love to do well and although I am not sure what career I'd like to pursue I do well in Science, English, Math and Spanish. I am a hard worker and love having fun. I have been working hard to improve my overall strength, conditioning, speed and agility. I am a team player and have lettered in cross-country, track and basketball during my current 3 years of high school. I have participated, medaled and been champion at the District, Region & State level. My running resume started as a middle distance runner, last season our main hurdler was injured and my coach had me try it to help the team and it was successful. I intend to improve this coming season and hope you keep me in mind when preparing your team roster my senior season. I would love the opportunity to continue a tradition of being a college athlete as both my parents, sister, uncle and cousins are/were Division I Track & Field athletes.
