My sophomore year of high school, I tore my acl and meniscus while in pole vaulting practice. For this past year I have been pushing in physical therapy to get back to competing, and to be able to compete and pole vault in college. The work ethic I have gotten from my program, International Baccalaureate, has also been reinforced in pushing forward and reaching my maximum potential in my sport. Although I'm finishing up recovery, I want to be able to show coach and colleges what I am capable of. I want to show coaches that I am willing to put in all my time and effort in becoming a better athlete for the team, and for myself.
