I have been running track for five years now. I started running when I was 12 years old in middle school before I started running I did cheerleading but as I got into track I began to love it even more. when middle school season ended I begged my parents to look for a track club and from the summer of 2012 till now I have been enjoying track on a competitive level. I am a 400, 200, and 100 meter runner and I also participate in the 4x4 and the 4x1 as anchor leg. My favorite and best race to run is the 400 and my best time for it is 58 seconds. I am apart of the USA Track And Field organization and I am on Dc speed track club. On the team I take up the leadership role and help many of my teammates. I am always asked from coaches to help guide other runners on the team. I play a big role in leadership on my team and even in the classroom.
Academically, I am a very rigorous student. My current GPA is a 3.3 and with that i am taking a course at George
My goal is to attend a rigorous university with a competitive track. With the commitment to school and track I strongly believe i can make a great contribution academically and athletically at the college level.
