Personal Statement
Track and field is a huge part of my life. I love running! Running makes me feel like I can accomplish anything. If I'm in a bad mood or have an off day, I know that I can always go to the track or go out for a run, and all of my problems can melt away. Track is so much more than being the best to me, it's a lifestyle that I don't think that I could live without, so this is why I want to continue my running career through college. I love the feeling of accomplishing all the goals that you have ever dreamed of doing through this sport! It makes me unbelievably happy.
I have been through some self-disappointment through the years that I have ran track whether it was losing race, or not hitting a time, but I always find a way to come out on top and see the success that I want! I persevere, and I love triumphing over hardships that I face in this sport. I love working hard and I never back down from a challenge.
My goal is to be able to hit about a 2:13 in the 800m for my senior year. I have been on the podium the last 2 years that I have gone to state for this event, however for my senior year I want to get further up in the rankings.

Yes. I have taken Honors english classes up until my junior year, since I am now taking AP Lit and Comp. I also took honors geography and honors algebra II my freshmen year, but now I am taking all college classes (Dual Enrollment) in these subjects.Are you in AP/IB classes?
