For the past four years I have run on varsity for the Battle Mountain Huskies track and cross country teams. Since my freshman year I have consistently been decreasing my 5k time, this past year I made a personal best of an 18:46. My PR running at altitude is 18:57. I have also helped my team win 4 cross country regional titles and 2 track league titles. My PR in the mile is a 5:33, placing me 8th in my school's history for the mile. My team also just took 2nd place at the Colorado State meet and will be going to the Nike Regional meet in Arizona.
I have received nine varsity letters over the course of four years from track, cross country, Nordic, and band. I am also a member of the National Honors Society and Link Crew at our school. My cumulative GPA is a 3.86. I have challenged myself to take at least one AP course ever academic year. I volunteer in my community during the summer, working the running and bike races along with tutoring students in various subjects.
