Brittany Pierce '14 Recruiting Profile

I would like to attend a university or college that has an equine/vet program and be part of a track team that is successful and competitve. I like to be a part of team and yet have my individual events as well, all to reach a common goal. My goal is to obtain, at least, a partial scholarship for track and any academic scholarships available to me. I have been running track since I was in the 6th grade and I have competed in the 200m, 400m, 4x200, 4x400, Sprint Medley, High Jump and Long Jump. While in college, my goal is to make nationals every year. I also want my college experience to be fun and exciting, while challenging. A college that offers opportunities to get involved and be a part of many activities is ideal for me. As a career, I would like to work with large animals, preferably horses and focus on therapy and rehabilitation. I hope to attend a college that offers internships as well. My dream is to run my own clinic and to be an advocate for animal rights. I want to help change the cruelity to animals that occurs globally. I would also love to get married and start a family after I am established in my career.
