I started running when I was 11 years old at the start of my 7th grade year for cross country. It wasn't until the end of my 8th grade year that I realized this was what I wanted to do for my sport because I was good at it and I knew that if I worked for it I could go big. Through the 5 years I've been running, building up my strength and aspirations, I've created one big main goal-To get into the eighteen minute range for my 5k time and start bringing in those who are interested in me. Other goals include majoring in forensic science (bones, bugs, and teeth) and working with medicine and nursing. I want to be someone who can do things for others and make a difference in their life; whether that be making them laugh or saving a life. What makes me a good candidate for a team, be it any, is that I always do my best at going into my day with a positive attitude, I work well with others, I aspire to help others get better, and I am a hard worker who does not give up. I am willing to sacrifice anything for what I love to do the most. What makes me different than other recruits in character, athletics, and academics is that I do the most I can to do well in all things rather it be just one and being able to be myself while I work my tail end off is what makes me that much more approachable.
