Personal Statement

My name is Jasmine Dixon, I am 5'5 and weigh 130 pounds. Track has been in my life since I was 9 years old and I want to be able to continue this sport in college. This is my first year running for George Wasington going onto my second year. I learned a lot about being a leader and a team player. I believe in working hard to get where I need to be in life and continue to work hard to be successful in Women's Track. The colleges that I like to apply for are Colorado State University and Texas Tech University. I want to major in Medicine and be an emergency doctor who spcialize in truma victims. My family has been very supportive of me and they will need some assistant in helping me to continue my higher education. They will be apppling for FAFSA and see what I qualify for. I plan on staying in track for as long as i can and be able to get faster and faster. Im going to try to be able to run track as a freshmen in college.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
