My name is Jordan (Jo) Edmonds, and I am a student athlete. One of my greatest aspirations is to be a gold winning Olympic athlete like Allyson Felix. I want to represent education, athleticism, and character just like her. I am goal, and team oriented, and enjoy being an athlete of Track & Field. Through constantly pursing my educational, and athletic best, my aim is to be a positive force throughout my collegiate career. I successfully lead my young, but determine 4 X 100 meter relay team to an unexpected 3rd place finish in the state competition this year, and found it to be one of the most fulfilling moments in my high school career. I achieved my personal best in the 200 meter dash, and learned some valuable lessons about myself and teamwork during this past school season. Even though I was able to graduate high school this summer, I am glad that I was choose to be available to my younger team members, and see them achieve a goal no one anticipated. What a thrill! My Summer season has lead me to Regional Junior Olympic competition, and I'm looking forward to a "run" at Nationals.
