Hi my name is Kiara Kearney and I'm a Junior at Rampart High School in Colorado Springs. I've been high jumping since April 2014 and the next summer of 2014 I was fortunate enough to compete in the Junior Olympic Nationals and place 5th with a jump of 5'5. During the current indoor season I placed 1st at the Colorado Indoor Championship with a jump of 5'8 which also placed me 1st in state currently in the season. Although High jump is my main event, I have also competed in long jump, triple jump and a Heptathlon in which I took second in state. Track consumes a lot of my time but I have still managed to maintain a 3.85 /4.0GPA while also taking various Honors and AP classes. Being involved in my school is something else I pride myself on, by being in various school activities such as student council, cheerleading, DECA and a school play. I always give the best I can to everything I do. And whether its on or off the High jump pit I strive to make my skills better and my attitude the best.
