Personal Statement
Hi, my name is Salena Gonzales. I first got into Cross Country and Track the fall of 2011, my 8th grade year, because I wanted to participate in a sport and be part of a team. I have really enjoyed running, even from the very beginning and now I cannot imagine a life without it. Likewise, I want to run competitively in college and I would love to see how much I can improve and accomplish, especially since I am still in the beginning of my career. I am passionate about veterinary medicine and I am looking forward to the opportunity to study it in college. I am currently searching for a college that will not only have a supportive team, but will also help me achieve my academic goals.
