My name is Alexis Buckhaults and I am a junior at Canon City High School. I am a two sport varsity athlete, I participate in volleyball and track. Sports and schoolwork have taught me the importance of balancing my time and organization. Both volleyball and track have shown me what great experiences, memories, and lessons can come from being on a team and I hope to be able to continue being on a team throughout college. Outside of High School sports, I also compete in summer and winter club track where I get the opportunity to meet and train with other athletes from all over the state.
A lot of the person I am today is in thanks to my family. They have supported me in all of my choices. Even if its getting me to where I need to be, or cheering me on at all my games and meets. They encourage me to be the best person I can be and to finish everything I have started.
I am looking for a college that have strong engineering and technology departments, that will help me learn and grow as a person.
