Katherine Baker '15 Recruiting Profile

I have been in sports my entire life and i was actually a competitive swimmer for eight years before I found running. It took one cross country meet to change my heart and solidify a passion for running. Something that has always set me apart from my team members and others runners, has been my optimism. I always try to see the silver lining and I stay positive. Academically, I have worked to achieve my associates degree by the time I graduate high school. I have taken duel enrollment classes and college courses at every opportunity. I've worked hard to be a well rounded student and person. But with the truly insane number of things I'm involved with, I've had to find things that ground me so that I may achieve my goals. The most important of which have been my family and my running. These things are my life.
