Personal Statement

My name is Deanna Spreitzer, I am 17, 120 lbs and 5'6. I have been running track since my freshman year in high school and I've been varsity since for the 300 hurdles. Freshman year I made it to region but didn't qualify for finals. Sophomore year I made it to region again and qualified for finals along with junior year. At finals junior year I broke the class record for my school by 2 seconds, but just missed qualifying for state by one place and less than half a second. Now at my senior year, the first invite of the season I already broke the school record for the 300 hurdles by a second with a 49.69 the previous record being held for 3 years was a 50.41. For college next year, I am not picky upon where to go, as long as I can run and get the education needed. :)I'm wanting to major in criminal justice to become a crime scene investigator. I believe I have a lot to offer a team because I have a very strong passion for track, which makes me very devoted and cooperative because I want to be the best that I can be.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
