Personal Statement
My name is Terri Baker and I have been running varsity cross-country since my freshman year. I have been the girl's MVP since freshman year (three years in a row). My fastest 5k is a 19:10. To help with my speed training I run with my horse (like you would with a dog). Running with my horse gives me great resistance training and a speed workout, plus it gives my horse exercise as well!
I love running and plan to run on a college team. I want to major in pre-med in college. I am currently in an International Baccalaureate program at my high school. I am also interested in studying abroad as well as possibly joining the military.
