Since 2008 --which was the beginning year of my middle school track career-- I have been a dedicated and passionate runner. My biggest goals in track are to never let myself get defeated, both internally and externally. Like most athletes, I do not like to loose a competition, but I like a good competition. Since the beginning of my sophomore year at Bob Jones, I promised myself that year that I would break school records and become the first person to ever accomplish a certain task at my school. With this aspiration and determination, I succeeded. I am honored to say that I am a school record holder, along with my fantastic teammates, in the 4x100m and 4x400m relays, and an Alabama state champion in the 4x100m relay. Although, these are just a few of my accomplished goals, I still have many more that I would like to achieve. I want and will work harder, train better, and run faster to obtain the best athletic and academic scholarships. I aspire to become the best possible runner that I can be, accomplish tremendous goals in my college track career, set new records, and to make those who care most and matter most to me, proud. It has always been my dream to run track in college, and it is exciting to now see it coming to life.
