Karen Bulnes Aramburu '17 Recruiting Profile

My goal as a student-athlete is to reach my highest potential both on court and in the classroom. I feel that my grades and achievements, both on and off court, show what kind of person I am. I have played tennis for the last 12 years and 8 years competitively with no more than a 6 week break when I got my tonsils removed. I am going to continue that sort of devotion well into my college career and strive to become the best player and teammate possible. I wish to succeed in the classroom as well, as my passion is pediatrics. Since I was little I have had a lot of allergy related illnesses and sicknesses which have shown me what a good pediatrician can do. With my pediatrician I was able to be completely healthy under the right diagnosis's and live a life filled with athletic and academic feats. For that reason I wish to become a pediatrician and hopefully affect kid's lives the way my pediatrician affected mine.
