Kiara Miller '10 Recruiting Profile

Hi my name is Kiara La'shay Miller and I've been playing tennis since I was eight years old. been through some tough times and those times have made me stronger as a person . I believe I can do anything I put my mind to. I Love to play tennis and this is just great I would be grateful for whoever I get to play for . I've played in USTA tournaments and I've gotten 2nd place in singles I was seeded number 2 in singles when I was12 years old and seeded number one as a doubles team when I was 12 in USTA. I had to stop playing in USTA tournaments in 2004 because I developed Crohn's disease ( Inflammatory bowel disease) It kept me away from tennis, but I got back in the game when I started high school Now I'm healthier and I've learned how to manage my stomach. I Have a special diet to follow which help me stay healthy to play tennis . When I had a chance to get back on the courts I took it I signed up for a spring league and I was a finalist in the USTA. I've been trained very well at the Andre Agassi boys and Girls' club of las Vegas when I was young I had all of my basic training there and they've taught me to work hard because nothing is given to you in life.
