I was four years old when my father put a racket in my hand for the first time and ever since that day I have been in love with the game of tennis. Playing college tennis has been a dream of mine since I was about ten or eleven. When my teachers would ask me what I wanted to be when I grew up, I would simply say that I just wanted to play tennis. As I got older I discovered I had a love for Science/Medical Studies. Helping people better themselves either physically or emotionally is what I can see myself doing as a career. Academics have always come fairly easy for me, maybe it is because I wanted to learn and retain as much information as I humanly could from my teachers. Not only am I competitive in the classroom but my competitive drive is one of my greatest strengths when it comes to tennis. Whether I am down a set and a break or I have a match point, I always want to play “my tennis” and leave everything I have on the court. I am coachable, when my coach sees a flaw in my tennis game we will address it and I will improve. Tennis is not just a hobby for me, it’s a passion that brings me an unbelievable amount of joy.
