My name is Samantha Jensen, I am seventeen years old and love the great game of tennis. Playing college tennis has been a dream for as long as I can remember. I have played Varsity tennis for two years, my sophomore and junior year. During my sophomore year I played three doubles, my partner and I came back from having a rough start to our season and finished the season as city champions and conference finalists. We had a winning season of 13-11. My junior year I played two doubles with a new partner, we started strong winning a quad early in the season and ended the season as city champions and conference champions. We had another winning season of 19-7. I am looking forward to the upcoming season and am working hard during the off season, taking many classes so that I have another great season!
I am looking for a smaller school with relatively small class sizes primarily private christian based, but I am open minded to the idea of a small school that is not private or christian. I am very interested in psychology and have taken many classes through my high school, psych is my desired major.
My athletic goals for college tennis are to play as a freshman, take the direction I am given and improve greatly from said direction, be an asset to the team I am playing with, and to simply make those proud who have helped me along my journey to becoming a better player.
