Grace Conrad '16 Recruiting Profile

I really love to play tennis.  I have played since I was 4 years old and played competitively since I was 9 years old.  I found that playing on a team is a lot of fun.  I love the camaraderie between the members.  It is an individual sport but playing on a team brings it all together.   I like being part of a group of girls that all share my same passion and are working toward the same goal.  Until I got to high school, I didnt have the opportunity to play on a team.  It was just me going to tournaments which was fun.  It's not as much fun as playing on a team.  

I am different from other recruits because I am very team oriented.  I also try to keep my cool on the court and I pride myself on having integrity on the court.  I don't make questionable calls even when the other player might be.     

I am not a big person physically but I am super strong mentally.  I am not scared of big players or big hitters.  I have a very good record in winning in tiebreakers because of my mental strength.
