Tennis is my hobby, my passion and my life. I learned to play when I was six years old and living overseas in Germany. My trainer there helped me understand from an early age sportsmanship and commitment. Now I work hard with every coach to improve my game and grow as a member of my team. While in Germany, I played on the club recreational team SV 1919 TA Miesenbach for one year with both the Women's Team and Junior's Team. My last year in Germany, I won my first tournament a Juniors U16, I was the only American player in the tournament. In addition to tennis, I love to sing and support my school in many ways. I am a head mentor with the school leadership team and I have spent time on the school student counsel. My favorite part of the leadership team is our work with the Bangor Area Homeless Shelter fundraiser, called Hike for the Homeless. Outside of tennis, I run cross country and track to help me stay fit and I love the team atmosphere. Academically, I have made honor roll 8 out of 10 quarters in high school (only missing honor roll by a couple points in 1 class for those two quarters.) For my high school tennis career, I have been the #1 singles player since my freshman year and am currently undefeated in regular season. My goals include being part of a great college tennis team, working toward my college degree and creating a successful path for my future.
