September 2014Personal Statement
I want to play tennis! I love the game and I love the competition and excitement. I love being part of a team and I will work hard for my team! I am a member of Beta, Student Council, Fellowship of Christian Athletes. I have also played Basketball competitively for 10 years. This year our team advanced to the Elite 8 in State play. I volunteer weekly at an Assisted Living facility, where I spend time with the residence as well as help lead a Sunday School. I am an active member of my church's youth group and I also volunteer in our Church's Awana program. I've been on mission trips in the United States and have been a student leader at GA camps for Marshall County for two years. In January of this year I was blessed with the opportunity to begin an in home bible study for girls. We meet once a week to grow in the word and help reach our community.
I currently have a score of 24 on my ACT and I'm working to reach higher. I currently have a GPA of 3.83. I take my studies seriously and strive for excellence on and off the court.

- In Doubles Kacey Narrell and her doubles partner won the Championship. They Beat Hartselle 6-2/7-6 (11-9). They defeated Walker 2-6-/7-6 (9-7 in second set tie breaker) 6-4 then advanced to defeat Briarwood 6-3/6-2 and defeated St. Paul in the finals 6-1/3-6/6-4. In Singles Kacey, defeated Chilton County 6-1/6-0 and lost to St. Paul’s after spliting sets in the semifinals after a first round bye.

And in Doubles, A Daniels/Narrell defeated Cullman 6-3/6-3, defeated Houston Academy 6-4/6-1 in the semifinals, and lost to Huntsville 4-6/6-7 in a second set tiebreaker in the finals.
