Whitney Mundle '16 Recruiting Profile

My whole life I have dreamt about swimming in college. It has been the one goal that has never changed for me. Ever since I started swimming at seven years old, I knew swimming was the sport I wanted to do. I am extremely passionate for my sport. I have a will to improve, so not working to my full potential is not an option for me. Every practice I give my 100%. This determination also reflects in my school work. I am an extremely hard worker when it comes to school. Some concepts and classes come easy to me, but most of them require extra work for me to grasp. I have always been interested in math. I enjoy it and want to possibly pursue a career in financing. When it comes to my character, I am an extremely light hearted person. I love to make people laugh and keeping a smile on people's faces when the going gets tough is something that I excel in. I try to keep a positive atmosphere wherever I go, whether it be the pool or the classroom. However, when it comes time to be serious, I am extremely focused. I don't take my academics or athletics lightly and this determination is what helps me to be successful in life.
