I have been swimming competitively since I was 10 years old. From 2 to 8 years of age I was afraid of the water, but I was able to overcome my fear and began attending swimming lessons. Later, my parents, along with a local club coach, noticed I possessed a natural talent and persuaded me to join the New Braunfels swim team. I continued swimming and moved to the San Antonio Wave in June of 2014 because I had hit a plateau and felt I needed a new coaching perspective. I am a dedicated student athlete and am competitive in the pool and the classroom. I work hard to maintain all A's and high B's. I recently was admitted in the National Honor Society at Smithson Valley High School.
I try to be as receptive as possible to a coach's critique and implement feedback in practice and races as best I can. I am open to attending college out of state and would love to attend a campus on either the east or west coast. Competing at the college level is a new challenge that I am excited about and willing to take on.
