Personal Statement

My name is Emma Hepper and I am currently a junior at St. Mary's High School in Bismarck, North Dakota. I swim high school for Bismarck High, because my school does not have a swim team, and I swim club for AquaStorm. I have been on the varsity swim team since my 7th grade year and I have placed top 8 in both of my individual events (200 free, 100 back) since my 8th grade year. My sophomore year I was named to the Scholastic All-America team, and this year (my junior year) I won my first individual state title in the 100 backstroke at out high school state meet. I am so excited for my last few years of swimming in North Dakota because I already know that I am going to get faster and faster as each year comes around!
