Allison Warnimont '15 Recruiting Profile

I have been swimming year round since I was eight years old and I have loved the sport ever since. I have always imagined myself swimming at a college level and look forward to that enhancing my academic experience. After swimming with my club team for many years, the coach and my teammates express their confidence in my leadership skills and swimming abilities by choosing me as a captain.  This was mirrored in my high school team as I was also chosen captain in my junior year. Academically, as in the pool, I set my standards very high and I like to challenge myself with honors and AP classes. I have also been selected to be apart of three honor societies and I participate in a service club during the school year.  When school is out, I give back to my community by volunteering at a local hospital. Although my swimming and academic schedules are very rigorous, I still try to find time to enjoy other adventures like skiing and white water rafting.  I look forward to attending a college where I will be pushed to be my best athletically and will also prepare me for my academic goals.
