Allison Marks '16 Recruiting Profile

Over the past four years I have swam strictly high school seasons, no club swimming that was long enough to be accredited. Over four years I have dropped 20 seconds in the 100 yard breaststroke from a 1:30.75; my first race freshman year, to a 1:10.44 which was achieved at the Nebraska State Championship Finals  on February 27th 2016. Sophomore year, I had shoulder surgery but still competed when I was allowed to, I made a quick recovery and immediately became a better swimmer. I plan to swim club from now until I leave for whichever college I may attend. I know that I can improve my times once I become a year-round swimmer, and have a coach that knows how to better my stroke with the proper exercises to quicken my times.
