Megan Letkeman '14 Recruiting Profile

I love swimming and being in the water. Swimming is the only sport I have ever stuck with and the only one that I could ever see myself continuing in the future. I love that when the starter says "Take your mark, go!" and I dive into the water, all of the hard work pays off. I take pride in my drive to continue the sport, even if I don't always win.  I am hard-working and dedicated -- I never miss a practice.

I would like to swim in college because swimming has always been a part of my life and I don't want that to change. I hope that I can continue to improve in college and that swimming will bring experiences that I will never forget.

I plan to major in Biology and possibly French. I want to go into medical school eventually.  I am looking for a school that is very strong academically to keep me challenged and prepare me for medical school. I am open to different sizes of schools and locations, but I definitely want it to be in or near a nice city or town with friendly people.
