Emma 100 Backstro...Personal Statement
My name is Emma Hazel; I am 17 years old, and a Junior at Lakeland High School in White Lake, Michigan. Swimming has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I started swim lessons as a baby and have found it to be my true passion. I am currently training at Kingfish Aquatics in Waterford with great teammates and coaches, who continually push me and make me a better swimmer. Every day in the pool, and in school, I work hard to achieve the many goals and dreams that I have. For swimming this includes getting my Olympic Trial cut, and swimming at the college level. Being a student athlete has been hard at some points but has taught many valuable life lessons that I can use for the rest of my life. In the future, I hope to be a part of a program with a great team and great coaches to who will continue to push me while I push myself.
