Kelsey St. Charles '14 Recruiting Profile

Ever since I started swimming competitively, at the age of nine, I have wanted to go as far as I could go in this sport. If I don’t swim in college, I will feel like I haven't gone as far as I could go in swimming. I swim all year round on either my high school women's varsity swim and dive team; The Howell Highlander's Girls Swim and Dive Varsity Team, or on my club team; The Howell Sea Serpents. I have had my Varsity Letter since 9th Grade. Swimming has help me with my Learning Disablity which is Dyslexia. It has shown me that I can succeed in many different ways and that I am capable of many things. I am devoted to swimming, my life revolves around it. I teach swim lessons at the locate pool, where I am also a lifeguard. Going to states in swimming wouldn’t be the same for me as swimming in college. That is one of my biggest dreams!
