Kathryn Santaniello '14 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Katie Santaniello. I am a junior in high school and would love to swim in college! I've been a competitive swimmer since age eight and I am thrilled that I have the opportunity to continue swimming at the collegiate level. I started swimming in the USA Swimming league, on Shawmut Aquatic Club, when I was 13 and have been fully committed to the sport ever since. As a freshman, I began swimming on my high school team along with my club team. Finally, in the spring of 2012, I joined Crimson Aquatics. Since then, I have become a leader, dedicated to both my high school and club team. I am looking forward to being captain of the Needham High School Girl’s Swimming and Diving team in the fall of my senior year. In college, I am hoping to be on a team that is focused both in and out of the pool. It is important to me that I'll not only be swimming, but achieving my goals in the classroom as well. I would enjoy hearing from any school that is interested in me as a student-athlete because it would be a privilege to continue doing what I love at a school that I adore!
