Liana Soileau '12 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Liana Soileau and I am currently a rising senior at St. Scholastica Academy. I have always admired college athletes for their commitment and hard work. As a high school athlete, I have many unique characteristics. I am focused, consistent, responsible and determined. Because of these qualities, I was picked team captain of my club team as a junior. I have great time management skills and am trained to overcome mental toughness. Ever since I began swimming, five years ago, I have made state team for club and high school. Not only am I focused in the pool, but I am equally motivated academically. I have maintained a 4.0 GPA through high school, and am involved in other school activities, such as National Honor Society, Excalibur and Mu Alpha Theta. I strive to do my best in everything that crosses my path. I am interested in a college that not only supports my swimming career, but allows me to achieve my academic goals, as well. I would prefer to stay in the southeast region of the US, but am open to all types of schools. As I complete my last year of high school, my goals are to continue improving my times in swimming and maintain my high academic achievements. I look forward to becoming part of a great college swimming program.
