Personal Statement
I started swimming at the age of 10 and fell in love with the water. Swimming was never a sport that was forced upon me, I rather decided to pursue it because of my love for it. I am a dedicated athlete and I am willing to put in the hard yards in order to become successful. For the past couple of years it has been my primary swimming ambition to qualify for a scholarship to attend a university in the USA. Competing in the NCAA Championships and completing my studies in the USA would be the achievement of a life long ambition.
My swimming career to date has given me incredible discipline in my life and made me understand that in order to achieve ones goals it is a team effort between swimmer, swimming peers and coach. My easy going nature allows me to handle these interactions in a very mature fashion.
I have taken great pride in being an ambassador for swimming at my school (Captained 2015 Swim team) and know I would do the same for the college I attend.
