Two of my main passions are swimming and school. I work extraordinarily hard in both, putting 100% effort into both activities day in and day out. In the classroom, I have continued to maintain a high GPA, along with participating in extracurricular activities. As a freshman, I received the Coaches Award/ Mental Attitude award for the 2012-2013 high school swim season. In 2014 I was voted to be the female athlete representative for the Noblesville Swim Club board, and will serve this role throughout the upcoming year.
I am an extremely self-motivated individual, striving to do my best in everything that I put my mind to. Throughout my years of swimming, I have acquired many helpful skills such as time management, promptness, leadership, organization, voice, and hard work.
I am not afraid of a challenge. I am looking for an academic institution that will keep me on my toes in the classroom and where I can further my scope of knowledge. In the pool, I am hoping to find a tight- knit group of athletes who will push me to achieve my goals.
Last year, I had a great deal of inflammation in my shoulders. With physical therapy and shoulder specific exercises, my shoulders feel as ready to work as they ever have and I'm feeling stronger than ever. Despite this setback, I am confident that I have a tremendous amount of room for improvement. I am excited to see my times getting very close to best times, and look forward to blowing past them during my senior year.
