I have been swimming competitively for the last nine years. I am currently in my junior year of high school and second season with the DeKalb Aquatics Swim Cub. As the new swim season begins, I look forward to making a Junior National cut again and also qualifying for the state and Sectional meets. I was recently elected secretary of the Junior Class for the Student Government Association. My two favorite strokes are the backstroke (which I made a Junior National cut) and the freestyle. I am working hard in continuing to strengthen my butterfly and breaststrokes. My goal in college is to continue to work hard and drop times. I will work towards contributing points to my team and qualify for the NCAA Championships. Just as important, I want to stay on track and graduate within four years with a degree in marketing. In addition, I would like to make all-conference as a swimmer, and work towards making the all-academic team.
