I would be a great addition to your swim team because I am strong athlete that enjoys the competition not only in the pool but in the classroom as well. My week consists of getting up every morning at 4 AM for dry land training and swim, then off to school at 7:00 AM for a full day of advanced classes (which I have carried a 4.0 in over the past 3 years) then back home to get a head start on homework before going to the pool for evening practice between 3-5:30pm. When I get home from afternoon practice, I am back to my homework then finally off to bed (hopefully)by 9:00pm or so. I might have to bring my Mom to college with me since she makes me the best dinner when I get home from practice.
If I am not competing in a swim meet over the weekend, I enjoy relaxing and hanging out with swim and school friends, representing my Club team, Sarasota Sharks, by volunteering at local events or going kayaking with my Dad. I hope to have my basic college courses completed by High School graduation so I will have a good start to my college career and focus on being a great teammate and athlete for the school and my coach. My best attribute, I have been told by my coaches, is that I am very coachable. I respect the opinion of my coaches and am always listening. I also seek ways to better myself technique wise along with becoming simply a better person overall.
