Brittany Lazear '11 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5'8 freestyle sprinter and 100 backstroker from Newark, DE and I will be graduating in the class of 2011. I have 2 years of club swimming experience with Delaware Swim Team. I love the sport of swimming and it is passion of mine. It is my dream to swim in college. Ideally, I am interested in schools in the South, however I would be open to exploring other parts of the country. Financial assistance is going to be important to me in the colllege selection process because I have a large family (4 younger brothers). Ideally I would like to be at a school where I could make an immediate impact on the team. I would also like to be able to play and travel as a freshman and compete at the highest levels of the sport that I can. My preferred major is Sports Medicine/ Athletic training. My Dad is a former collegiate Div. I basketball player from Eastern Michigan University.
