2015 HighlightsPersonal Statement
I hope to be an all-conference swimmer in college and enjoy swimming with new people and coaches. I would also like to graduate with honors in math or applied math, and maybe get a minor in geology. I would be a good candidate for a college team, because I am a hard worker and want to have fun. I don't want to swim if it's not fun and if other people aren't enjoying the time we're having together. I can make people laugh pretty easily and even though I'm not the fastest swimmer, I work my butt off and try my hardest to do the best to my ability in and out of the pool. I believe that my times will still improve greatly when I fully recover from a knee injury in a soccer game a few months ago. Also, when someone or something knocks me down, I get back up, even if it takes me a little while. I will push through and keep going on! I'm different from other recruits in character, because I always try to cheer others up and encourage others to do the best that they can. I also try to make every situation as fun as it can be and lighten the mood if it needs to be done. In athletics, I'm different from other recruits, because I LOVE swimming with all my heart and I'm not going to a college where I can't swim. In academics, I always like the challenge of hard courses, and I have done well in nine Honors or AP courses so far, while accumulating an unweighted 3.6 GPA.

- 2015 Stonegate Stingrays summer swim team (open)
- I won the 100 breast going a 1:17.31 in short course meters untapered, and won the 200 medley and 200 free relays at the championship meet. Our team also won the girls 15-18 age group and a couple other age groups and the meet as a whole which has not happened in all 24 years that our team has been a team.

- This is a neighborhood summer swim team, but my 200 Free Relay broke the league record that we had set the year before, with a time of 1:55.56 in short course meters.

- This is a summer league, neighborhood team, and my 200 Medley Relay got the league and team record in the event with a 2:09.75 short course meters. And in the 200 Free Relay, we broke the team record, and missed the league record only by .04 seconds. I also won the 100 breast at the championship meet with a 1:20.07
